Our crews are OSHA-trained and background-checked. We know South Jersey's clay-heavy soil, seasonal freeze-thaw cycles, and township-by-township permit rules well enough to handle them without asking you to figure it out. From HOA submissions to 811 utility markings, we take care of it before a post goes in the ground.

The best local fence contractors have South Jersey-specific experience — they understand clay-heavy soil, township-by-township permit requirements, HOA architectural review processes, and what materials hold up in coastal humidity. Tri-State Fence & Deck is based in Sewell, NJ and serves all of Gloucester, Camden, and Burlington Counties, plus parts of southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware. You can request a free on-site estimate to get started.
Fence installation prices vary based on material, linear footage, terrain, and gate requirements. Vinyl typically costs more upfront than chain link but requires less maintenance over time. Aluminum and wood fall in between depending on style. We provide free written estimates with clear line-item pricing — call (856) 230-7082 or submit a request online to get yours.
Most residential fences go up in 1–3 days once materials are on-site. Decks may take longer depending on footings and framing. We typically schedule installations 2–3 weeks after a 50% deposit, while permits and 811 utility marking are handled during that window.
Most towns require a zoning permit for new fences, with stricter rules for pool barrier fencing and fences above certain heights. HOA-governed communities add an additional layer of approval. We handle the permit submission, utility marking, and HOA paperwork as part of every installation — you don't need to manage that yourself.
Yes. Tri-State Fence & Deck builds custom decks alongside our fencing work — pressure-treated wood, composite Trex decks, ground-level and elevated. Deck builds follow the same process: on-site measure, written estimate, permit handling, and a 3-year workmanship warranty on all installation work.
We provide a 3-year workmanship warranty covering all installation work — posts, panels, gates, deck framing, and hardware — under normal use conditions. This is separate from manufacturer material warranties (vinyl lifetime limited, aluminum powder-coat corrosion warranty, etc.). Details are provided at project completion.
No pressure. No vague quotes. Just a licensed South Jersey fence and deck contractor who will come out, measure your property, and give you a clear written estimate.
